And Misery is a fire and lightning merging. Yet Kid didn’t have any burning mark or anything. Like if he was just punched….

Compare BM ultimate attack and Kaido…. BM attack was so lackluster

Tbf, Misery never hit anyone in the manga. So we don’t know how high its damage really is, it was slow though so that’s the drawback.

The only two reasons why Oda didn't focus way more on the Kid and Law vs Big Mom fight was because:

1. He really wanted to get to the Luffy vs Kaido fight and show off Luffy's new power up.

And 2. He really wanted to quickly wrap up the Wano arc.

Oh well, I'm happy that the finale of the Kid and Law vs Big Mom fight was at least handled much more better in the anime compared to the manga.

Great episode just finished watching it the anime really hyped Kid tanking ability, he was the one taking on most of the attacks from BM to allow Law to do his thing. The damned punk looked amazing hope the impact will be great next weeks episode it's 9/10 episode for me.

Even more when you think that BM had a PU with Hera she didn’t have before. And Zeus was weaker and made weaker combo with other homies

For me, Misery isn't even her ultimate attack!
Oda nerfed BM by having her fight inside the skull
If she was outside, she'd spam bigger and stronger moves.

Also yeah, she didn't fight Luffy
She was bound to only get 70% shine
Not 100% like Kaido

BM has always been a clown but this fight was something else, epic CoC punch for a tobiroppo and basic haki punches for Law.

I'm sure she was only named Yonko because she came from Rocks pirates. Essentially two YC 1 level character could beat her. Roger probably realised this and thought she ain't worth his time when he stole her rubbings.

She wasn't beaten directly though. She was thrown outside onigashima + bombs and lava defeated her. Also R room negated BM's control over her homies.

given how BM infused her bones with souls, is it possible that she could have possibly saved herself and Kaido by using the homies in her bones?

We see with Zeus how homies can transfer their soul around. No reason why the bone homies couldn’t transfer themselves to the magma and save Kaido and BM.

You say this as if we didn't see Law's strongest offensive move do virtually nothing to BM, puncture wille stunned BM for 2 seconds.
That shit was really just to make a hole on the ground.

Big Mom admitted Law's moves are troublesome, even tho both Law and Kid's moves are obviously not enough to take her down, Law's moves definetely do more damage.
