Ashura didn't know what the hell was going on, and expressed after the fire was set that he was going to pound Holdem in just like he was planning in the manga.
Holdem's best moves were totally ineffective against Ashura as well.
Someone like Holdem should not make someone like Ashura struggle in a head on clash and make him sweat and go "ugh"...when Ashura can fucking clash with Jack a YC...

It was a really good episode, but with one big blunder: The Ashura vs Holdem scene just didn't make any sense at all.

Ashura has always been portrayed as a rather ruthless character, that just downright eliminates you, if you fuck around with him. He is not Luffy/Zoro/Sanji, who tend to goof around, when they don't know what's going on.

Him struggling against Holdem just doesn't make any sense at all, given that we know he can hold his own against a freakin calamity.

Rest of the episode was done well though. The torture and prison scenes added some nice context and the whole Zoro/Hiyori/Toko situation has been on point once again.
