I literally said Kaido top 1 yesterday but okay

And same Oda said Akainu would end the story within 1 year IRL as a protagonist due to being too strong
while it will take several years for luffy as his current level

Luffy started as fodder while Akainu has a head start as the Fleet Admiral and current top 10, at least out of the people confirmed to be alive ( possibly higher if he's Prime Sengoku's level but we can't assume that just because he's the current FA ).
So of course he'd end it sooner if he had Luffy's plot armor and what not.
