Don't worry, Oda has a team to help him on the manga, the live action is on good rails for the moment and they understand the assigment, this shouldn't take him too much. Most of the work was probably done after the end of the production, at best he will review some of the post-prod footage but the game is set and it's a new vision of the story it doesn't have to be exact, let creative be creatives.
I guess they choose pink as a way to contrast more with the green of the cactus. Not a bad choice but I hope we will have big wide shot of them in town. What's up with the shoes tho? They feel very antic.
