Naruto and sasuke vs momoshiki has 63 million views on crunchyrolls youtube, whereas one piece most popular clip of luffy knocking down kaido from chapter 1000 has only 5.2 million, literally more than 10x less popular. And this is Boruto which is no where near as loved as naruto. A single boruto fight 10 times more popular than the highest climax of one piece up to that point. It's not even close.

A clip of Luffy with the snow rabbit has more than both of those. Compare the hype of baryon mode to gear 5. Hell a1 minute teaser for the live action was #1 trending world wide on Twitter with over 300k tweets.

They can just rewrite the eyebrows out of the German storyline. This is an adaptation not a shot for shot remake. According to the leaked script for episode 1 they will have Sengoku and Kong at rogers execution

I admit I have very low expectations rn, the casting is off and when it's more or less ok, the costume/make-up doesn't feel right, so imo it's going to end up disappointing to manga and anime fans. Such kind of projects aren't going to translate well to LA. I'd understand something like Sakamoto Days or Bakuman, which is closer to real life, but not such fantasy manga like One Piece.

Some stories are just better when animated, like Spider-Man into/across the Spider-verse, it would be a lot worse as a LA.

In term of looks, Zoro > Nami > Luffy > Ussop > Sanji
Sanji just looks wrong...
Ussop looks like Luffy's dad
Nami is some what ok
Luffy is a bit too old and try too hard to be childish
Zoro is well, not bad, but his green hair just looks weird in some shot
