That One Piece History section will probably go something like:
Roger was a man. Whitebeard was a man. They existed over 40 years ago. Being a man means having a penis (most of the time). Roger was seen wielding a sword. Whitebeard used a bisento and the Gura Gura no Mi. Roger was strong. Whitebeard was strong. Roger and Whitebeard were rivals. This meant that they fought. At one point, Whitebeard's bisento clashed directly with Roger's sword. It was a strong Haki clash! Despite being enemies, Roger and Whitebeard respected each other. Roger wanted Whitebeard to also reach Raftel. Whitebeard wasn't interested.
