First, law and kidd aren't MC crew
Second, sabody wasn't battle royale but this was.
They are no longer in the race to become PK - not after they lost their RPG
On bb and shanks jumping on law and kidd -
Shanks was on Elbaf. It was kidd who appears out of nowhere with RPG and then without shanks provocation attacked Shanks allies.
bB - he clearly said he knew one of Luffy, Kidd and Law will take that route. Law was just unlucky for taking that path.
Also, BB always was opportunistic - his story began with killing thatch for yami and capturing Ace to become warlord.
And, this is one of the reason he is such a good villain. He actually act like a pirate
