Oda does random shit all the time, but even for him it doesn't make sense to make us return to Egghead after like 10 chapters away from it just to shift the focus again when it gets hype. if he was going to focus on Akainu it would have a been continuation of chapters away from Egghead.
So either Akainu is heading himself to Egghead, or the frauds are overblowing something trivial again

Hmm, could be some relevancy in the conversation towards the end of the chapter.

Im not even sure theres a "pattern" anymore to this arc structure lol. Oda just drawing whatever the fuck he wants and when lol. Could be just a singular scene at the end of the chapter or something

Magma: 700-1300°C
Orange fire: 1100-1200°C
Blue fire: 2500-3000°C

That would have sense only if Akainu did not awakened his fruit too, because Mera Mera < Magu Magu < Awak. Mera Mera < Awak. Magu Magu.

And honestly, it doesn't seems likely.
