Yeah I'm honestly very disappointed King and Queen got hyped up like that for Green Bull, I mean its great for Green Bull and Admiral fans ofc, but sucks for Yonko and well King and Queen fans ofc. Considering they had a week to recover as well IIRC?
Just like Green Bull supposedly capturing Weevil offscreen after waiting to see him do anything and get hype since the freaking timeskip is just ridiculous!
Katakuri has always been heavily downplayed and underestimated, called a glass cannon and ridiculed, but he has shown some of the best haki yet, whereas Oda barely let the Beast Pirates have haki and didnt even let them have awakening but Katakuri had Future Sight AND Awakening ofc! Plus CoC too, unlike King who should have it too! Maybe even Jack I dare say.
I expected the Beast Pirates to be Armament specialists at least, but that was a huge letdown lmao.
I hate how Oda made Katakuri fight Oven due to a sudden new ability Caesar never had before, which he could have used on the SHs anytime for example but its whatever, Oda forced Katakuri out of the picture and to look bad, the fact he had to force it as well lol.
That one fan chapter from years ago of Katakuri facing some of the BBP commanders including Auger, Shiryu and I can't remember who else was far better than this, Toei are at least hard carrying this part of it with that amazing scene and animation of Kuzan vs Cracker, but then they had Auger one shotting Crackers biscuit soldiers ffs lmao.
Katakuri to me is still the most impressive first mate/right hand/vice captain or w/e, hes the one who got not only a fight with Luffy but it was 26 chapters I believe? Extremely long anyway?
I only expect Beckmann to surpass him at this rate in actual competence/threat/hype or w/e but we'll see. Unless Kuzan is now Blackbeard's true right hand all along lmao.
Katakuri has one of the best fighting styles, one of the best fights, one of the best theme songs etc so he still stays winning too imo. I like how he's a foil to Luffy, quite similar to him in some ways too.
