Imagine if Oda didn't waste the last decade by introducing and focusing filler fodder trash.

You don't understand fam, we needed 30 freaking chapters dedicated to these scabbard twats walking around the streets with lOden!

People dropped to their KNEES for them! Oda wants us to do it too!

And we needed 15 chapters for these guys because they were super freaking important!

And the Straw Hat Grand Fleet has been absolutely essential to the plot since Dressrosa every step of the way! Remember how.... how that gnome and that Happo Navy guy saved Shirahoshi that one time?

Oda really won't stop with these filler characters. We're better off hoping that he gets some sense and hires more assistants to do most of the heavy-lifting for him while he takes a less stressful supervisory role, but he's too proud of having One Piece be "his personal masterpiece" to allow anyone else to touch the manga's art but him now, with the exception of some backgrounds.

I hightly dislike it. Idk what's going on, but why you need to kill all the tension?

Any adventures story needs to keep tension, needs thrilling moments that would make people fear for MC and crew. But what is going on in Egghead? Saturn was scary untill last panel of his introduction where Boney stabed him with a sword. After that Kuma punched him, and when Saturn turned into zoan form he was turned into pizza.

So to bring tension Oda let him summon other Gorosei. Did that change a thing? NOOOO! Ju Peter was cutted in half by giants.

Where is the tension of this moment?

And this is amazing how OP fans discuss Ju Peter and other Gorosei on this forum, when you know that there is no tenstion left.

Dragon Ball, unlike One Piece, actually have that tension and Hunter x Hunter.

And what we should fear off, when giants is enought to defeat the Gorosei, and if things go out of hand we still have Kuma and Ancient Robot. This is so boooooooring.

1 month Break for another LA is the worst experience for a manga/up-to-date audiences.
He could take a break for 3+ months if it's for health care, anytime he wants.....
Nonetheless everything is about business and the most important of all its BIG 💰, and then if s2 sells again, we're getting s4, s5 etc till end of the manga if we're still alive at that point.....

Ok on one hand I get it for the Scabbards (way too many), but i dont for the rest.

He actually didnt spend much at all on the Onibawanshu and Mimiwarigumi, they were essentially 1 shot by one character in Onigashima outside of Fukurokuju (who fought Raizo).

And the Fleet imo is essential in making Luffy feel like an actual Yonko crew, regardless of how you feel about their characterization or whatnot. They will play their role in the Yonko fights or Final war., whatever it may be.
