It's doubtful Oda considers this important enough to be added to the main story. Remember what he did with Zoro's backstory?

I think it's pretty likely it comes up if Franky and Lilith keep talking. A reveal that Franky actually may have met vegapunk as a toddler is interesting

Zoro's backstory was in the manga. His family tree isn't really important at all. But Franky learning about vegapunk as a child would be important
