I think it's just bait. Piratefolk gets baited a lot including by TAC/here, there's no source for this too.

But given the complete radio silence from leakers generally, Redon apparently not giving hints as his favourite hobby too ofc, that this actually sounds like something he'd say and this would be an extremely weird thing to fake but not implausible ofc, maybe it could be true?
