I prefer Shanks as a character with a gray morality (but more positive than negative), but after this shit I start wanting him to be the final villain (it's impossible). The problem is no longer even that no one is dying. To hell with that. There is no emotional tension AT ALL. Zero adrenaline rush. Absolutely nothing. What is it instead? Psychology? Interpersonal interaction? Internal conflicts? No, nothing. Absolutely. Emptiness.
