I dunno how this is meant to really hurt the admiral agenda when the one who's doing it was put at >= Roger / WB level by most peeps even prior to this chapter. I'd expect someone of that calibre to pull off a decisive victory against admirals. The fact that Oda's potentially presenting such a feat as something that catapulted Rocks's notoriety and fame is actually decent portrayal for admirals, if nothing else.

Its agenda wars and trolling. Don't take it seriously.

There this means Rocks probably killed the strongest admiral in 3-4 named attacks.

It just goes to show you that no other pirate was ever worthy of defeating an Admiral, legitimate Akainu level feat. When an Admiral is defeated, the whole world shits its pants in terror. When two Yonko are defeated simultaneously, it’s no bigger news than the abolition of the Shichibukai.

Truly no mere subordinates like Whitebeard or Kaido could have ever done this.
