Ray and the whole amazon lily was teamed up. Ray and Boa hax, shakki and lily fighters were on the same side. And BB already confirmed that Boa hax could fuck him up. It was a bad situation for him even if you exclude the marines. He didn't run just because of Ray. So yeah, let's not make it into something it was not.

No one teamed up with Ray. He literally told everyone to do as he says, and everyone including a Yonko obeyed him. That's all there's to it. Garp, on the other hand, needed to use force to terrorize the Yonko crew when their captain is absent. Not to take anything from Garp but the former clearly looks better for anyone with a sense of logic. Garp can be on a different level than Rayleigh for all I care, but Rayleigh received more respect b/w these two incidents.

First lets see what is happening in the chapter. It's not Garp's fault that BB was not on his base.

And, their goals are also vastly different. Ray didn't have to use force cause his goal was to stop any fights. He managed to do that with an island backing him up.

Garp just wandered into a yonko territory looking for a fight. Of course he will use force lmao.

You yourself said BB would beat Ray. The reason he isn't willing is because its not Ray alone. He has enough brain to figure out why Rayleigh the first mate of the PK is in a remote island in the calm belt is because he has ties to them and they will fight with him. He has a hax df user with adv haki and her entire island who knows haki on his back.

So of course BB would not take the risk. BECAUSE HE ISN'T FIGHTING JUST RAY. But you're ignoring that context and saying "Ray so badass he just told them to go away and they obliged just because he told them".

But that's not the case. Ray isn't a bystander in this conflict at all. He has stakes in it. If it was a 1 v 1, and Ray didn't have the support of an island, and BB had a reason to fight ray, he would have fought him and beat him.
