I wonder what context he fought Ace in? Maybe an Alabasta like situation where he was trying to take over a country, or just something petty? Ace has more of a jackass side to him then Luffy, if only a little bit. I literally don´t think we have ever had a character like this with a good design revealed in an SBS, so will he actually be in a movie or something? Ulti flashback? Has Oda become Senile actually?
Probably a country takeover, or general save someone/people mission which lead to Ace defeating Hanafuda.
Tbh he should do a movie of an arc involving Ace and him, not these non canon movies we get everytime, why not animate some of Ace's adventure from his view, Hanafuda is a waste of a design at least put him into use there in a good movie

kaido not only avenged hanafuda but raised his children? I didnt know kaido was capable of this much kindness. Kaido caring for his allies already clear every bum leaders we have in our world but not only that he goes further and rise say person's children as his own. How many freind in real life are capable of that much, probably would steal whatever is left and kick out the child out. @MonsterKaido Waido has more personality and characterisation than real life human whom loyalty change depending who they believe has more aura.
Exactly he care for people he is close to, most of kaidos army would betray him if they could but it doesnt mean he would kill them without reason either. Its a different case for enemy and rival that are openly hostils and convoite what kaido also want the one piece. Another proof of kaido caring about people close to him is his reaction to big mom being defeated. As for yamato what kaido disliked was her taking after his greatest rival in oden which tarnished their relation from the get go.
Oda could have explained the whole thing better but he half assed/axed too many things halfway
It's always these hundred chapter arc's rhat fumble, Dressrosa, Wano. Imagine finally reaching Doflamingo and you think the fight was locked only to have to climb all the way up again, holy shit Oda is a master staller to these arc's. The entire Olin gibberish was not needed, could have saved his time from those chapters alone.

Oh yeah could have worded better I should have included all Gorosei, but just selected Saturn because he had more screentime to be able to show it off, and he didn't.
Same thing with other Gorosei, at this point I believe it when I see it. Hell Warcury, Mars and Jupeter didn't even show their hybrid form lol.
