World's Strongest Swordsman
Wdym? Every title is rooted in the majority’s perception, whether their opinions matter or not. I already explained that Roger’s title was the result of everything he accomplished: his actions, his reputation, and his very existence. Finding a mythical island was just the icing on the cake. Nobody would care if some random pirate claimed they left treasure on a mythical island. What made it legendary was Roger himself. Even Mihawk, of all people, showed interest in witnessing Roger’s final words. The world was stirred up because it was Roger’s treasure. His name carried the weight of the One Piece treasure, not the other way around.

Should I instead start listing all the moments that put Roger on a pedestal strength-wise? The legends themselves such as Kaido , Big Mom, Garp, Shiki, they all acknowledged him. Whitebeard’s hype came from being Roger’s equal, not the other way around. Saying the Pirate King title isn’t strength-related, especially in Roger’s case, is ridiculous. “Wealth, fame, power” — a man who achieved everything.
No it isn't. If he died without going to raftel he doesn't have have the legend he left.

Didn't beat garp
Didn't beat wb
Didn't beat meme
Didn't beat sengoku
Didn't beat shikki
The list goes on

Ace novel said that Kaido was the strongest, and BM leeches off Kaido. Mama fans are eating good.
Tbf that novel was a bit contradictory, one of the previous chapters had narration describing WB as the most powerful/strongest.

But then later we see them talk about who is Top 1 and Ace's friend thinks it's Kaido, while WB is "the greatest at following the pirate code".

Funny thing is OP Gakuen did something similar where they outright said WB was top 1, then later introduce Kaido with the WSC thing.

It's confusing.
