Yeah it makes their characters even better. Both Kaido and Big Mom had lines about and open hatred for betrayers, it's nice to see that consistency and Oda show why.

It's all making sense now especially as predicted.

Kaido and Big Mom were part of the original main focus of OP and its 5 year template, the were the main antagonists/villains as Oda planned originally and thus they deserve far more respect and importance.
