I said the clash between them did what Roger and Whitebeard did, which is clear the sky. That's not only a Yonko feat, but Kaido acknowledged Luffy "1 on 1" saying he couldn't remember being pushed to his limit like that.

How is that a powerscaling argument? Prime WB heard Oden died and his people enslaved and still didn't go into Wano. He said "too many people would die" but Luffy escaped just fine but with minimal damage.

Because neither are powerscaling arguments. WB simply concluded the casualties wouldn't be worth it. Luffy on the other hand has never had concerns like that. Rooftop Luffy was nearly killed, and lived because of his awakening

See I get your point, but this is a terrible argument since we see that Kaido's entire goal is to fight the World Government and kill a lot of CDs in the process.

and there was WBP who did want to go to Wano like Marco. It's just comparing someone being the type of guy to make a plan/be reasonable about things vs someone who will rush into conflict. If it weren't for Zoro, Luffy might have attacked the WG to save Vivi.
