Controversial One Piece VS Naruto & Bleach

#21
One Piece wins and it isn't even close.

Naruto had a great first half, the second part of it however even though it had great moments and even arcs, it became annoyingly bad and filled with nonsense near the end, seemed like Kishimoto is bored of his own story.

Bleach like Naruto had a decent start, it peaked fairly quickly then it went downhill fast, the fights in Bleach later on are basically two characters trying to win in an asspull fight, you have no idea what's happening and neither does Kubo, but at least it looks cool.

One Piece had the weakest start, but it improved quickly and it's peaks as well as consistency over time is miles above Naruto or Bleach.

Naruto is still a better protagonist than Goofball
Nah, Luffy has been shallow and easy all throughout one piece, volume 1 and 110 are practically the same.
Naruto tried to have moral values to break the chains of fate and yadda yadda, only to be chained to fate and be the child of prophecy god reincarnatdd kyuubi and ultimate mary sue.

Do you guys think that Manga fans are exaggerating when they say One Piece is worse than Naruto and Bleach ever since Wano? I think One Piece is worse than Dragon Ball now for the record, but it still has more redeeming qualities to it than Naruto and Bleach do, IMO.
nah its true

Oda saotaged his own series deliberately so he could end the story sooner. If Luffy's awakening was more Doffy like where he can make everything around him rubber would have been better than what we got. I hate Gear 5

I'm not really sure what the problem is

Goofy and Naruto are both child of fate BS

Naruto is actually somewhat intelligent and engaged in reflection. Luffy is so dumb he does not feel like a real human and comes off as unrelatable

The best waifu from Big 3

One Piece-Nefertari Vivi
Naruto-Kushina
Bleach-Nemu

Oh back on topic. All 3 of them had problems in getting the cleanness in the final arcs right.
I think one piece is still writing the four emperors/final saga without that feeling of hits/consequences, but it’s passable compared to Naruto/Bleach Cookie-cutter final battle chapters.

Reforming Sasuke did change his fate. Ashura's fate is to fight Indra in and endless cycle of hatred.

Besides the only real driving themes I could find in naruto part 1 is "solitude vs bonds, what makes someone strong"

People bring up this "destiny" stuff in the chunin exam but the climax of the Chunin exam is Naruto vs Gaara, Kaiju tailed beast battle, clashing on the basis of "solitude vs bonds, what makes someone strong".

I don't see how people glaze over this stuff and project rock lee onto Naruto.

In part 2, it's breaking the cycle of hatred.

Talk no Jutsu is also something that doesn't change. He basically debates his opponents and reforms them.

The ninetails who was described as mass of hatred is also a part of that reformation trait.

It's a lot more unique than just throwing island sized punches at the main villain at the end of every arc.
