Break Week Onigashima is far bigger than Marineford

Wano is 1000 ri

This is remarkably consistent with other statements of size for islands in the One Piece planet, whether it be the 50km river in Alabasta, Viola's 4000km sight being unable to view Green bit from Dressrosa, or the 150km Fishman Island plaza. Every island in the grand line has its own unique magnetic wavelength. Marco has stated there are millions of islands in the world. One Island being continental in size isn't new for the series.

No idea why its always the Marinefans talking shit

I read on internet that Sen Ri (1000 Ri) is more like a figure of speech

regardless, Wano country is really big

What, did some new information dropped about Onigashima size? If not then Onigashima is obviously bigger then Marineford.
Nah, I saw @MarineHQ quote some post from here in another thread.

Found this thread and some of the posts here interesting, and wanted to necro this lmao.

Never understood how people actually believed this
Like straw hats travelled a big portion of the territory on foot within a few days
Even big islands in One Piece are only the size of a small/medium country IRL
Yeah, pixel scaling is obviously BS.
It's how we get nonsense like OP earth dwarfing real earth, continental Alabasta etc.

But really though, IMO the below argument is the most compelling:
Numbers are around 60 Meters & seeing how they roam the Castle, it's obvious that it's Huge
Sanjuan Wolf was 180 M & he was almost as big as Marine HQ Building

Even thematically it's obvious, Onigashima is Portrayed as a Land where Ancient Giants feel like Humans there (Size Relativity)
But in Marineford, it was obvious that Little Oars Jr. looked too big for the place

No need for using Pixels & Panels at all
*****************

I think the islands themselves are comparable.

Comparing just the main buildings...

Onigashima castle can comfortably hold several "numbers"

Marineford is a fort island, of which the building itself is a relatively small central figure. Lets say, the main building is around 10-20% of the total area.
Onigashima castle on the other hand, was almost as big as the island itself. It occupied like half of the area of the island

Onigashima is nowhere near as big as some claim, but it is still many times the size of Marineford. Marineford legitimately is like a small town, between one and several kilometers in diameter at absolute most. Marine battleships being confirmed to be sixty meters in the manga completely dunked on any argument against it.
