Somewhere on the middle i'd say, tho i tend to be more harsh with works i watch/read for longer time and care about (hi One Piece & Tower of God) than most other works i don't nearly care as much about or at all.

I'm a very lenient and generous person when it comes to anime in general. Even if the anime is trash, as long as it has some kind of humor or cute girls then it's watchable.

I can still watch 3D anime like Beastars and Duke of Death and his Black Maid because it's 3D done well. If it's something garbage like Berserk 2016 or Kingdom Season 1 or Ex-Arm CGI then it's absolutely unwatchable.

Then you got series that got butchered so hard like Seven Deadly Sins Season 3 and 4 looking like kindergarten drawings animation but it's still watchable because I care more about the story. If an anime has mediocre animation but has a decent/good storyline then I can still watch it.

I LOVE trash anime, I really do, but I still have my own patience and standards when it comes to anime.

It's more 'generic' than 'garbage' imo.
