And I said, she doesn't have personal attachment towards specifically Big Mom as opposed to Perospero, who was the main reason Pedro sacrificed himself to free the Sunny. She was already at odds with Big Mom when she joined the team to Whole Cake Island, Perospero made it personal, as you can see on the panels. It's not scapegoating, don't know where you see it.

Whatever Perospero says is irrelevant. He was targeted by Pedro, he's allowed to quip about it. Just because you sacrificed yourself doesn't make it right.
I can't help it if neither you nor oda can't see it, but this is exactly like Ace and Roger... For the most part. Ace was criminalized just for the sake of being born by the Pirate King, Just by sharing his blood the WG wanted him dead.
Pedro going after Big Mom would of been one thing, but he went after her child. Pedro did not need to blow himself up. If having Carrot become Perospero's fight simply because he was the target of revenge at the time, then that's just a shallow fight that holds no real weight.

Did you think I was talking from Perospero's end? No. Carrot is the one with vengence, not Perospero. The only comment he makes is that because of his right arm, he gets annoyed about Pedro and would take out his frustrations on those associated to him. That has already been stated. The conflict was from Carrot's perspective since Perospero was the one that caused the situation the Straw Hats were in and forced Pedro to blow himself up to save the lives of the Straw Hats.

Luffy already demonstrated that Perospero's candy armour is susceptible to fire, and he bought time by slowing down Big Mom and temporarily incapacitating Perospero through blowing himself up while freeing the Sunny as well as saving Brook and Chopper.

Why blow himself up when he could just blow the damn Candy up? Apples to Oranges. Pedro was a character all to readily to kill himself, that was his gag.

The candy that ensnared the Sunny? Meaning if he blew it up it would have the possibility of blowing up the ship they want to escape on?
He also killed multiple birds with one stone: Incapacitated Perospero temporarily, slowed down Big Mom's approach, freed not only the Sunny, but Brook and Chopper who were trapped in candy, and bought time for the crew to escape.

Adam wood makes the ship impervious to most cannon ball attacks and is durable enough to withstand the wind pressure of a Coup de Burst, something Merry was incapable of doing.

The sunny has been through dire straits before. Hell Even on fire it was just some minor damage.
If they didn't run out of Cola then could of even used Coup de Burst and used that force to break the Candy.... It's all just bullshit tier writing.
