General & Others PK and his top three were all blade users yet not a single black blade

#23
When you realised there was not a single kickboxer, basement cookie puncher or moonwalker in previous PK crew in the top 4 hierarchy

Roger was a swordsman who failed to turn his blade black

Ray was a swordsman too

Gaban was an axeman

Oden the weakest swordsman in their crew

How strong is Mihawk 😨

Black blades are like the One Piece versions of bankai, at this in the story we're getting anything less than this. :kayneshrug:

Again ? These goblins don't give up?

What good was a black blade? Moreover, what use was a supreme grade sword here?

Also it is factually certain that this badly wounded version of Luffy could not barehandedly split an attack coming from Roger , Oden and his wings.

Also I'm just spitballing here but maybe it has something to do with the grade of the sword?
Roger, Issho, Nasujuro all have Saijos so maybe if your sword is already maxed out you can't transform it into a black blade.
iirc when you make a sword a black blade it goes up a level, which implies that Yoru wasn't always a Saijo and that Mihawk only took it up to that level after he turned it black. Coincidentally Shisui is a Owazamono, so wasn't maxed out as well. All of Zoro's swords are also below Saijo. Just food for thought.
*Can't remember if Yoru was stated to have always been a Saijo tho, in which case this hypothesis would be wrong.

Vista was never his enemy and he never wanted to kill Luffy. Mihawk joined this war for his own amusement none of the warlords at manineford obeyed commands btw everyone was doing their own thing. Imagine relying on this war to power scale the goat :milaugh:

A new day a new cope
:vistalaugh:

"Vista was never his enemy"
Proceeds to attack Vista's captain with all his might.

"and he never wanted to kill Luffy"
Proceeds to attack the pre ts hakiless and badly wounded Luffy without holding back and even apologizes to the Red God King

I think Mihawk having armament haki so good that few can replicate is fine. Not everyone has Future Sight, not everyone has ACOC, black blade is just even more rare than that. Of course we'll have to find out the exact requirements eventually.

Why would Mihawk need to test that...................WB's commanders would protect their captain? Isn't that their job? Why doesn't he ever test this with the red hair pirates? Stop coping, Mihawk is below Whitebeard and Roger.
If Mihawk didn't view Whitebeard as above him, he's not even showing up to the war. When Shanks came to the war Mihawk was the first to leave

Yes, cope for you.

Mihawk didn't use all his mic when he attacked WB. He was just testing WB and to see how hard his commanders will try to protect him.

Mihawk it's so strong he can easy generate an attack so powerful of random fodder thought that was the world's strongest slash. Mihawk's nameless hakiless attack needed a diamond offense, one of the strong defense in the manga to stop it. WB needed to be protected by the strongest defense in the entire crew.

This was Mihawk first attack against Luffy.

He had his eyes closed and was bragging about Luffy still being in his range even though we all know Mihawk has crazy range.

But please go on and tell me how he wasn't holding back.

This was Luffy'a statement about Mihawk.

Luffy didn't say the same thing when he encountered and fought three admirals at the same time. He place Mihawk's strength above combined power of three admirals.

Oh, absolutely. Your Japanese is clearly beyond native level, and you obviously understand more than actual Japanese readers... and even Oda's. You could make a living as a translator at Viz Media. We'd definitely get better translations.
