Koby would first have to become a Rear Admiral, he's not skipping ranks without a long time skip.
Some of my predictions for 2024:
- Incident resolved in Egghead, Luffy defeats Saturn possibly with Kizaru's help and Zoro kills Rob Lucci then unveils King of Hell Asura full power and defeats the 9 Vice Admirals all by himself; Bonney joins the Straw Hats and Vegapunk sails with the Strawhats for an arc
- Shanks and Blackbeard finally clash in Elbaf and the Strawhats arrive in time for the resolution
- Revolutionary Army reunites with Sabo and decide to move to Elbaf to meet up with Vegapunk, possibly aim to make Elbaf their new base

Usopp eats Pawfruit, Shanks beats up Barto, Barto and Law get captured, Luffy talks to Urouge about Enel and the Moon on Elbaf, Luffy punches Shanks, Strawhats sail to New Marineford to stop execution of Law and Barto, BBP and Kid attack Elbaf, Kuzan goes over to RHP and faces Kid, Saul comes out of hiding and loses to Wolf
Happy New Year everyone! Now let's start with some twopiece far-reaching developments. This happens after the climax of Egghead arc:
-> Cuts to Emptee Bluffs Island. Cross Guild members are gathered around a huge table with a map of the grand line.
-> Everyone is there: Galdino, Alvida, Mohji and Cabaji, Richie etc. Crocodile and Mihawk stand next to Buggy, both silent and angry.
-> Buggy begins to brief everyone on how they will go after the One Piece.
-> With a great speech, Buggy explains his "rags to riches" story. We cut to various small flashbacks in quick succession.
-> We see young apprentice Buggy finding and losing his first treasure map.
-> We also see Buggy trying to find Captain John's treasure on a skull-shaped island, but no luck.
-> We see Buggy getting beat up (Luffy), electrocuted (Logue Town), set on fire (by accident), taking different kinds of damage from various enemies during his career, being sent to Impel Down, etc.
-> Buggy remembers what Luffy did to him in Impel Down, proudly shows off Cpt. John's armband to Alvida.
-> Buggy looks at Crocodile and Mihawk, "this is my only way to repay my debt to them..no..no I can't let them win this over me!! Not like this! I will be a pawn no longer!!!"
-> Suddenly, someone interrupts and asks him how sure of this plan he is.
-> In a rare boost of genuine confidence, Buggy smiles and begins to laugh. "There is no doubt! If we mull about and remain content, we will never pull it within range!" Buggy flashily flies up to his balcony and puts on the grand show. "I, Buggy the Genius Jester, humbly ask you to follow me to Fullalead (Pirate Island Beehive), where we will obtain CAPTAIN JOHN'S TREASURE."
-> "Wealth (representing Crocodile), Fame (Buggy), Power (Mihawk); this is just the beginning! Once we have the treasure, we will show the world what it truly means to be a pirate! Stop at nothing, the One Piece will be ours! Do you know what the poneglypths are? What if I told you that everything we need to get started is located at that island?
-> In an epic double spread, we see a huge poster unfurl behind Buggy with a picture of Pirate Island Fullalead.
-> Buggy then takes out Captain John's armband and throws it below, making a loud *ding* as it lands in the middle of the table as proof.
-> Everyone stays silent for a moment until one starts to cheer. The entire tent is now in an uproar: various members are running around shouting, it is complete chaos. "Now go, prepare the ships, not a moment to waste!" Buggy exclaims.
-> As the chapter ends, Crocodile and Mihawk emerge behind Buggy. "The President needs to have a chat with his executives about the logistics behind this operation," Crocodile says in a calm and terrifying tone.
-> "Indeed, by failing to prepare, we are preparing to fail. We should discuss these new developments behind closed doors," comments Mihawk.
-> The final panel is Buggy, where half his face is pure Luffy-like confidence and the other is abject terror. Narrator comments something witty.
One Piece will be on break next week

I expect a lot from the Revolutionary Army this year!
I really hope to see Dragon's flashback, more info about his connections with Clover and possibly more about Nico Olivia.
I expect the best from Kuma, hope that he survives and that Bonney joins the crew!
I want more from Ivankov, Bello Betty, Sabo, Hack and the revolution!
Saturn dies this year, really hope that Vegapunk survives and Kizaru leaves the Marines
