I was thinking to myself today about how hard it would be to actually catch novices/young people up to all of the modern Pokemon mechanics.

There is just so much shit to learn. I watch a GOOD amount of Pokemon content, and there's plenty of stuff I have no idea about. Should watch more competitive stuff, though.

There are some decent general guides out there, but they're outdated. A Pokemon is a game where you very much need to keep up with the current meta, or you will struggle lol.

Especially now with Scarlet and Violet, where Tera is the key.
