The one who make Zoro fans bad are others "Zoro fans". Imagine getting the ultimate parallel with a legendary character who was the god sword and still comparing that with a fake thing. It's not even one of the Sanji's best hype nor he doesn't have any link with lunaria ...

Do you think luffy fans will ask this question when kaido compared Luffy with others legends and sanji new PU ? :kobeha:

Zoro obviously got better hype. But, it was predictable. Sanji on the other hand, we don't know shit about the origin of Diable Jambe and King's race until now. Sanji got more questions and debates than Zoro when it comes to fire powers.

Sanji's not from the Lunaria tribe... It was just a segway to King cause of Sanji's fire..
The hype thing is Sanji feeling weird after 2 times putting the raid suit on.. If Sanji's power up is reliant on his passion or emotions, there's technically no limit to his potential.. If Nami died for example, Sanji could easily reach Yonko level for a certain amount of time..

Zoro was more hype overall because of the implications to Ryuuma himself, though Sanji could be a greater hype based on insane dormant possibilities..

Lmao, I don't get this thread, this isn't a "who's your favorite" bullshit debate, I don't think anyone can really deny that sanji got way more unexpected hype, so why the comments "zoro as always" when we all know that's not the case

It's cool that zoro is ryuma's descendant, but here zoro was clearly outshined, not only is sanji hinted at to be from a race of gods, goat beard himself hyped up that race and they are connected to the moon, the red line and the void century, that's way more hype since sanji is now potentially connected to the void century

And the void century>ryuma in terms of hype, so it's not really about zoro or sanji, it's about who they're connected to

Also nice little detail, Gurada, judge's nickname, is a reference to the Buddhist demi god who has the form of a Phoenix with huge wings and is the king of the bird race, he also happens to be the god of fire and the sun

:cheers::cheers:

This chapter was 10% momo hype, 40% zoro hype and 50% sanji hype

I feel like you skipped half the chapter just get to the zoro part, that comment is gonna age like "sanji is perospero level" or "sanji isn't commander level"

King's reaction alone is kind of a hint

yes i agree. sanji should have defeated at least oven, or both oven and daifuku back in WCI, but oda decided that baking a cake is all that is needed from sanji......
maybe he is feeling a bit guilty for not protraying sanji much during WCI so now he is getting a PU here at wano.
You're not understanding half the point of wci, it wasn't about sanji's strength, he's not feeling guilty mate, you feel like that because you misinterpreted the whole thing, sanji's arc was about "yeah he's a strong fighter and badass second in command, but he's also a kind-hearted chef" and people lacking brain cells took it as "he's just a kind hearted chef"

Sanji was always intended to be portrayed that much, it's a pattern oda used since arlong Park, he just made an exception for wci in order to highlight sanji's character traits

Shimotsuki contributed no additional power to Zoro, but Lunarian does to Sanji if its indeed that he got that genes.

so, Sanji is more interesting for this one.

In terms of surprising factor or development, Sanji because we already had hints Zoro was related to Ryuma / Shimotsuki. We just waited for the confirmation, which happened this chapter

On the other hand, Oda opened a path for Sanji's RS unlocking his exoskeleton, which for future developments is more hyped for him

---------

In terms of importance though, Zoro is more hyped it's linked to the fate of the country

With Zoro returning Shusui to the land of Wano indirectly implying it to a sign for Wano's misfortune leading to the country being controlled by pirates, ending, with the similarity brought up with the Sword God of Wano(with one of his legends being slaying a dragon over the capital) looking like a future foreshadowing of Zoro writing his own legend in the country as a parallel to Ryuma's
