Luffy actually hit Kaidou in his face. You can see the impact trailing . A similar example to this is Jinbe's roundhouse kick to Wadatsumi,where Oda made the same trailing impact..

It's difficult to say, it's not clear at all, for me at least.
Zoro might not be able to control Emma completely so he missed because of it and that's why he was pissed.
But BM warned Kaido so he might have dodged.

As I said, if Oda had used others verbs which have only the definition of dodging or missing it would have been clear.
But here Oda used a verb that indicates two things (missed and dodged) so now take whatever you want but the result is still the same : Oda didn't want Zoro to wound Kaido.
Why ? ask yourself about that first ...
If Kaido didn't dodge then it's worse, he couldn't move, react despite BM's warning, he would have been badly injured if he received THIS attack, that's all.

Well, you argued with Chekhov's gun when the talk was about Gamma Knife missing Kaido's heart, even though Law said "it should be around here". But somehow Chekhov's gun doesn't work here.

Kaido clearly dodged. Which in turn means that Zoro missed of course. Big Mom screamed at Kaido to dodge so he trusted her. He felt relief after not getting hit by Enma.

Zoro is 2m away from Kaido's huge head at max. Having 2 weeks to train with Enma, with Zoro's attack not draining his arm anymore like in the past. Would be weird if he misses such a huge target from close range.

I don't think you understand what Chekov's gun is. It's a long term PLOT device, it's not something that happens in 2 panels. I mentioned CG for Gamma Knife, in terms of a DRAGON'S ANATOMY, and if the "invincible" dragon has a weak spot. We still don't know how Kaido's DF works, what his model is, and if he matches up to Momonosuke for example. Momo might straight up tell them how to beat him by telling them an unknown secret about dragons.

Here, Zoro was clearly angry at himself, and starring at his sword. He didn't say Kaido dodged. Oda would have written it that way.

No, he has not mastered Enma in 2 weeks. He was again frustrated that he didn't release all of its energy just last chapter.

The narration is very clear. Big Mom screaming to Kaido, "Dodge!". And there's a movement draw on Kaido body after Zoro finish his attack.

In anime all of this will be clear with motion, of course.

We all know Zoro Haters see what they want to see at this point. When this happens in the anime, they will say Kaido dodging is not canon.

When ZKK happens, watch out for "it was Oden's haki, not Zoro's" comment to sprawl around.

Kaido dodged it causing Zoro to not connect. Thats good hype for Zoro, probably an Oden level attack. Only difference is Oden can spam it whilst Zoro has to charge it up which is reasonable.

Oden with full Enma mastery didn't one shot Kaido with a max effort nitoryu strike, he severely injured him, but not one shot. Zoro isn't one shotting Kaido even if that attack hit.
Also Kaido is stronger now as Oden told him to train to be ready for this war, and he hasn't used hybrid yet.
