Well, Zoro’s implies he isn’t a swordsman, and Zoro is kind of our expert in the series.
Although that is tempered by Zoro also saying he’ll bite out King’s throat to win if he has to, and Zoro is a swordsman.
Personally, not seeing any real difference between how Kaku in particular (among others) fight and how King does. The difference seems to be that he has no real form of fighting at all and uses whatever the hell he needs?

Swordsmanship is like gender identity.
Take King and Cabajii.
They both have things "besides their swordsmanship".
They both have fire abilities.
Cabaji has acrobatic moves.
King has hair-comb moves.
Etcetera.
The only difference is one identifies as a swordsman while the other doesn't.
Zoro says if it really comes down to it, he might perform things that are outside of swordsmanship.
This is fine because he identifies as a swordsman anyways.

Does not have CoC? Kaidou himself stated that Zoro had CoC though, although its not the advanced form ["you have CoC too (like just like pre-Udon Luffy brat?)"]. That being said, imo Zoro will train his CoC expertise to be at least higher than all swordsmen, giving black lightning+no-touch crushing effect (not cutting like a swordman but knocking-crushing like a CoC expert) in the final fight or even before that,
...thus being the only swordman in history who accomplish borh [WSS status-Black Blade] and [notouch-CoC-crusher expertise nearing the same ballpark as Roger and WB]. A swordman who can choose to cut with Black Blade, not cut anything, or crush with CoC Coating.
