Of course some people don't believe in it. I wonder how the new chapter might influence results tomorrow. But my own mind won't change, I'll believe it until the arc ends.

but that's likelihood. you mean debunked, as in not happening at all? I think it's silly to believe there's less than a 20% chance.

It's been a thought in my mind for a long time that Kaido might even live after decapitation, so it's never 100% been ZKK for me, even IF he cuts his head off. But that makes things even more complicated. :zosmug:

They did not accomplish. Just didn't stopped him. Just like Crocodile. Luffy let him get out of Impel Down he is able to go back to Alabasta and do whatever he wants.

One thing is stopping villains to do what they want, other thing is doing that for them.

This may come across as a bit of a surprise to some of you, but I'm only like 90% confident in ZKK.

How I arrived at the figure:
I'm ~95% confident that Kaido will die.
If Kaido dies, I'm ~95% confident that Zoro is the killer.
95% * 95% = 90%.
Change to 99* about Zoro. I would say only 50% if Kaido dies or not.

No imo. Oda can still go around his way to make ZKK happen, just like how Zoro wounded Kaidou by Asura even with being beaten as a consequence. If Oda goes by this route, then it won't be a fresh ultimate Kaidou since Kaidou vs Luffy is decisive PK competition. But if it's Kaidou whose peak has been decimated by Luffy, a shell of his former self who is permanently disabled and having no more way to unleash his final form, Oda can still go by this route.

That way Zoro can still execute Kaidou even when Luffy is the one surpassing him. Maybe Luffy sees Kaidou fly staggeringly in Wano's skies trying to bombard them with the last Boro Breath he can manage. Luffy gets ready to fight him for the next round and prepare his Conqueror's Coat. But healed Zoro asks Luffy for permission to execute, and Luffy put his trust in Zoro, but tells him to be most careful and not pulling any punches. Zoro releases haki-bloom powerup attack and decapitates Dragon Kaidou, finally completing the previous WSC's life as a climax of Wano Capital Ceremony. This is the only way for Zoro not interfering in Luffy's PK competition against peak Kaidou: Zoro executes beaten Kaidou.

It's unlikely that Kaido will even die in the first place seeing as it's what he wants.

It's even less likely, though, that somebody like Zolo would be the one to do it compared to Luffy.

What matters here is intention. Anyone can look at the reasoning Zolo has for wanting to kill/defeat Kaido compared to Luffy to realize how shallow, and really quite undeserving, they are.

Zolo's intent, first and foremost, are HIS OWN personal satisfaction, HIS OWN meaningless vainglory and to satisfy HIS OWN personal bloodlust. Sure, he may also want to do so for Hiyori, but we can see based on his statement to Queen remarking Kaido as "THE STRONGEST" that he is primarily doing it for his own selfish intent just like every major fight Zolo has gotten in.

Luffy's intent, on the other hand, first and foremost is a much more selfless, retributive and constructive basis that is rooted not in his own, but for the people of Wano and all others who were indirectly harmed by Kaido's misdeeds. Unlike Zolo, who seeks only to fufill his own temporary and ultimately worthless dream of vainglory, Luffy wants to bring liberate an entire country and deliver redemption on behalf on decades worth of suffrage for millions of people.

It's for the same reasons Oda had Luffy defeat Doflamingo rather than Law. Sure, anyone would agree that Law has more personal reasoning and justification for defeating Doflamingo, however, Law's reasoning focused only on himself and his relationship with Doflamingo, caring not for all those millions who suffered along with him. His reasoning is rooted in hatred, wanting to see destruction as it's end. Luffy on the other hand had an intention laden in compassion and love, caring for Doflamingo's destruction only as a means to bring construction to all of Dressrosa.

All in all, someone like Zolo does not deserve to kill/defeat Kaido because his intentions are not coming from a place of charity and compassion, but of hatred and bloodlust.
