The accurate parallel of "Rayleigh" of the GENERATION? Killer
The parallel from Strawhats in terms of powerlevel? Sanji (Zoro's powerlevel parrallel is Roger, strongest swordsman of his time)
The parallel from Strawhats in terms of role? Zoro (to an extent)

Zoro is NOT Mihawk or Rayleigh of this generation!
It is pure disrespect to Zoro's character to try to force him into the parallels of these two characters. They are NOT him. (Fans of Rayleigh and Mihawk can be mad all they like, but they are not Zoro).
Mihawk - only ever displayed selfish ambition, aka wanting to be the strongest, doesn't have the "Growin strong for others" factor/"nakama power" factor, which even he himself highlighted.
Rayleigh - only ever shown to be supporting Roger as far as ambition goes. Dude was a bum on a boat before meeting Roger. Not the same as Zoro who was already renowned throughout the east blue as "Pirate Hunter", which is still his epithet.
Do they have similar character type as Zoro? Yea they do (fuck ton of characters have similar personalities tbh), but some similarities don't equate to full similarities. Zoro's IQ is about as good as Luffy's. Mihawk & Rayleigh on the other hand never been shown to be "Dummies". They fit Sanji personality if you remove the perv gag from Sanji. Zoro on the other hand in comparison fits Shanks more if Zoro was a captain (especially when you consider how much the two love drinking lmao). Even Zoro-Roger are pretty like each other, dudes who are eager to fight, can be serious and goofy.

The correct parallel for the Roger Pirates isn't the Strawhat crew. It's the Kid Pirates, DESPITE Luffy being the one to "carry the will" or what not. (This is also why there's no "official" Vice Captain for the strawhats)
Roger considered Rayleigh is partner. Kid considers Killer his partner. Both are the official first mates of the crew. For Luffy & Zoro only Smoker, an external individual, called them partner based on him being the most famous of Luffy's crew and being with him since the start. So the difference already starts here.
This is the big difference. ONLY Killer refers to Kid by his name on the regular, Heat/wire/etc all refer to him as Captain on the regular. ONLY Rayleigh was on normal "first name" basis with Roger. While even the likes of Gaban (Heat equivalent) referred to him as Captain.
- Part of the Worst Generation, who fought alongside the rest against the Two Yonko, then even though didn't face a YC, did go against somebody who is insanely Hax.
- Smart as fuck, just like Ben Beckman & Rayleigh. Always chilling and serious and babysitting his captain just like Beckman & Rayleigh. Contrast to Zoro who's essentially the same as his captain, just tiny bit less.
- Long hair Blonde boi just like Rayleigh.
So yea, Killer = Rayleigh of the GENERATION.

N° 4 fans are now using Mihawk's bounty as proof that by the EoS the n°4 is going to have a 3.6+ billion bounty. N°4 fans want him to be Zoro, we keep coming back to this fact and they keep denying this fact, they keep using Zoro's feats, portrayal and parallels as if the n°4 was HIM.
