If Zoro doesn't have the Shimotsuki lineage.

"Oh hey, Zoro doesn't have a traditional family name or notoriety to support him. He's just a normal boy who wants to become the World's Strongest Swordsman because he's determined."

If Zoro does have the Shimotsuki lineage.

"Oh hey, not only Zoro is a hard working boy, he also have the fame from a legendary Wano samurai clan who basically the heroes of Wano and the dragon killing legend. Having the Shimotsuki on his back would proven him to be among the sword gods."

Depends on which lineage. At this stage he is most likely a Shimotsuki and I would have preferred if he made his true legend without needing a name like that but still he still deserves all the good for his hard work or else he would never have become so potent.

Screw the weirdos that claim that Zoro needs to be from a no-name family for all of his achievements to be valid. As long as he surpasses his lineage, who gives a fuck if he had a strong daddy and or ancestor? Zoro was not BORN strong like Big Mom or had gained his powers from eating an OP fruit. All that changes if he has strong DNA is that some punks will gain another excuse to invalidate his achievements because "muh lineage factor" and to be real I gladly take that if we in exchange gain some insight into Zoros backstory and past.

If Sanji can get almost half an arc dedicated to his fucking backstory, I think Zoro getting one or two chapters is not too much to ask is it?
