Theory Possible answer to Rocks D xebeck Identity..

i-------------->.

As you know, in the world of One Piece, there are pirates who are nicknamed based on the colors of their beards. For example, Whitebeard, Blackbeard, and Brownbeard....

Now, I believe that Rock D. Xebeck's nickname was Redbeard, and his character might be inspired by a famous pirate named Barbarossa....

Hayreddin Barbarossa, also known as Redbeard, was a notorious Ottoman pirate and naval commander during the 16th century. Barbarossa's red beard and fierce reputation earned him the nickname "Redbeard" among European sailors and traders....He became the chief admiral of the Ottoman Navy and played a significant role in expanding the Ottoman Empire's maritime power in the Mediterranean sea..

Redbeard Barbarossa's navy was known for using xebecks, which were fast ships. Xebecs became the preferred ships of Barbary pirates because they were faster than contemporary ship types until the introduction of steamships...

Considering the similarities between Barbarossa and Rock D. Xebeck, it is possible that Xebeck was once a fleet admiral... that's why he might have possessed vital knowledge, such as the whereabouts of God Valley and the secrets of the Celestial Dragons, which made him a significant threat to the World Government...

I believe Xebec’s epithet was just “Rocks”, at least according to Sengoku

Ha! I love this! I had similair thoughts quute often!

Do you think Shanks could have ties to him?
It's possible his mother was a Figarland...but what about his father?

Thinking about it...maybe Shanks' mother got executed by Garling because she had business with Xebec. And that's why Xebec maybe wanted to take revenge in God Valley.

Him making a grand Redbeard legacy would just be so damn great. And Shanks trying to carry a part of his legacy.

i mean for exenple like monkey d dragon..in some covers pages he's associated with dragon...so maybe xebeck is same thing with rocks..
But White beard had no beard? :quest:
he obviously shave it ..

You got any evidence for this or we just supposed to believe this is the truth. Kinda thought we had to show proof theories.

Proof that Barbosa is said to have to rode these ships.
And any similarity beyond just the xebec ship. I'm sure barbosa wasn't the only mf who rode a xebec. So is there anything beyond just 1 reason

Considering how legendary Barbarossa was, I'm surprised nobody is named "Redbeard" in OP.
The only problem is that Barbarossa wasn't really a pirate.
