Never seen anyone complaining about Skypea....Its a fucking great arc. Thriller Bark on the other hand... Only thing good about it was the ending.
:whitepress:
I don't know why so many people hate Thriller Bark. It was a fun and different arc. Luffy faced a Shichibukai for the second time and showed us the epic battle between Oars and the Straw Hats, the first time the whole crew faced an enemy together. And Brook was the star of the arc.

I think the problem is that it happened after Water 7/Enies Lobby, one of the best sagas, and before Sabaody, which featured the Supernovas, Kizaru, etc.

I loved skypiea too. It just dragged for some parts but I love adventure arcs. Sadly we won't get anymore in One Piece.
I don't think that's true. All arcs have their share of adventure. Punk Hazard (the first half) and WCI (Seducing Woods) are some examples.

I had no problems with thriller bark too. I loved that we got the crew in a horror movie setting. My least favourite arcs are Punk hazard and fishman island. Most OP arcs are decent.

TB was still about the Straw Hats and some golden tier comedy moments

Zoro vs Ryuma is one of the best fights of the series

FI was not too long which made it a lot more bearable than DR. The Straw Hats were still the stars of the show and some genuine emotional moments with Nami and Jinbe. I really liked the Fisher Tiger flashback and Arlong crying really resonated with me.

It has some of Zoro's best pages and doublespreads :steef:

PH was really bad and it started the trend of the SHs not being the main characters anymore and overcrowded arcs with the alliance.

It made Smoker and Tashigi look really bad :whitepress:

Well, WCI introduced many new characters but maintained a good balance. Each Straw Hat had their moment to shine (Nami, Sanji, Chopper, Brook, Jinbe). I think it's because of the fact that the alliance with Law was put on the back burner. I mean, Law is a good character but he already had a lot of importance in PH and Dressrosa, so WCI seemed a breath of fresh air for the manga. Also Totto Land is one of the most original and interesting NW islands so far and Katakuri's fight is my favorite along with Lucci's in EL.

I like all the One Piece arcs, as they all have something special. But, without a doubt, the best arcs are the ones where the crew has the most prominence.

As much as I like the Wano Country arc (even more since the beginning of the Onigashima Raid), I would like that the next saga and the rest of arcs until the Final War will be focused on the Straw Hats without SN or allies.

That's why I think Blackbeard‘s arc will be one of the best post-timeskip arcs, because it will focus only on Luffy and his crew.

Blackbeard's arc will be the final war, I don't see him doing before that. Probably the final villian is blackbeard

It is a possibility, but if the Straw Hats fight against the Blackbeard Pirates in the Final War they would not be able to face the Marines, Admirals, Im, etc. I think the ideal scenario is that Luffy fights Blackbeard first and then, when he is Pirate King, he fights against the WG. In the Final War, Luffy will have to face Akainu and probably Im. If you also add Blackbeard, it would not be realistic for him to win three hard fights in a row.

Theres two reasons why people complain about it, there are people like me who just disliked the plot itself, for me the whole idea of zombies, the shadow thing timelimit felt pretty subpar, the enemies also didnt present the same threat that villains like Crocodile, Ennel and Luci did, not to mention the whole nightmare lufft thing felt stupid as hell. I only felt some real simpathy for brook near the end of the arc, dosent help that ammoung all the SW's for me he is the most annoying one using the same jokes over and over and over again....

And now there are people who mainly watched the anime and didnt read the manga, thats when the pacing starting going to hell.

I think after kaido and big mom, luffy will only face Blackbeard as the final villian and the revolutionaries will take care of the world government. Just my opinion since Oda says the story is ending in 5 years.

Punk Hazard is truly the worst arc I ever watched for the show... I even rank it BELOW Foxy arc

Wouldnt be the first time he planned on ending the series in a set ammount of time...It never works lol, looking at wano its already proff enough that it will take more than 5 years....He releases around what? 50 chapters a year at best? Wano is not even over yet, with it taking at the very least 30-40 chapters to finish. And if theres 2-3 arcs after Wano, considering all arcs take over 100 chapters each, 2 arcs+ wano would take Oda 5 years, if those arcs end around the lower one hundred mark, wich i REALY DOUBT, considering how many plotthreads are unnadressed, hell we seem to be getting more of those as we go...3 Arcs would already go towards the 7 year mark.

Enemies like the CP0 or Im (who is not clear whether he/she is a fighter or not) I see it as possible that they will be defeated by the revolutionaries. But the 3 admirals and Akainu, in my opinion, should be the 1vs1 of the Straw Hats. Especially Luffy vs Akainu or Zoro vs Fujitora. If not, it would be sad if Luffy & co had not beaten any admiral before the end of the series. After all, the Marines are the enemies of the pirates and the WG is the enemy of the revolutionaries. But even if Blackbeard is not Luffy's final enemy, I believe he will be his greatest opponent, as he will be the strongest pirate he has ever faced.

But it is also true that Blackbeard seems to be the ultimate villain. Who knows what Oda has planned.

Oda wants to end it by the time he's 50. I think he's 46 now so it holds more weight that he's ending it in 5 years. He releases 35 chapters at most so around 200 chapters left. I'm sure there's around 50 chapters of Wano left. 50 for elbalf and the remaining 100 for Blackbeard whiles the world government is dealth with off panel.

It's bad but that's what we get after the 100 chapters in dressrosa

Roronoa-sama

Magic Sword, Magic Swordsman, and Can Cut Anything

Blackbeard is potentially showing up very very soon, of course we can't expect to enjoy anything that goes beyond a mere mini arc, even in the most thriving scenario. Mihawk is a mysterious object, this is also why I love his character. You can't quite predict his moves with accuracy, he is a real free spirit.
it's the moment to demostry he's strongest swordmab in history (above roger). He must do an alliance with BB and conquer seas

It will likely be a mini breather arc similar to Zou.

If not it will be Elbaf arc the next big arc with the Straw Hats finaliy arriving on the land of giants as Usopp has wished for so long, may find the last Road Poneglyh, reunite with Hajrudin and Oimo and Kashi and meet Hajrudin's crew, Loki and the king of Elbaf.

Big Mom and the Charlotte Family will be present in order to resolve Linlin's issues with the country and clear the Mother Carmel's situation, which is why I wouldn't be surprised if the CP0 is present too, and possibly see a huge family reunion with Lola, Chiffon, Bege and Pound.

Maybe it will be really here that the Straw Hat Pirates will finally meet Shanks, Yasopp and the rest of the Red Hair Pirates too.

What is happening outside Wano right now will surely lead to the next arc,if not directly to Wano! I still think the two arcs (Reverie arc and Wano arc) could collide in some way! So i dont know,i think Oda is showing us like all the events post-timeskip are all connected, and one action leads to another, and to another...its all connected, there is not the scheme "Strawhats make their own travel and reach a island" anymore. So we'll see.
