Speculations Proof that Pedro is Alive

I would start my theory with a well-observed reality that Oda is a master of foreshadowing. This theory has three parts, the first two parts are the ones I came up with in OJ and the last part is the one first mentioned by @Sadistic Senpai.

first part:
When Kinemon came up with costumes for Luffy, Zoro and himself, he made Luffy into a Fish, Zoro to a Cat and Himself into a Frog. I think this is created in such a way to hint at the characteristics of future Straw Hats with fish being Jinbe and cat being Pedro. When I propose this as a part of my theory in OJ after the presumed death of Pedro, a certain section of the community did their best to jeer at me.

second part:
Luffy asked a centaur to join his crew and the centaur had Jaguar pattern in his animal half of the body. Apart from that Oda created many cover pages with Straw hats wearing Jaguar pattern dresses.

third part:
When Luffy himself drew the new Jolly Roger for Joxy pirates, it kinda looked more Feline than Vulpine and one more thing to note is the Jolly Roger has torn left ear. Thanks, @Sadistic Senpai for noting such minuscule detail.

Morethan anything Will of P is strong :P

These are interesting observations, but to me, they look like a bunch of unconnected and unrelated events...even Oda wouldn’t make his foreshadowing subtle enough that Luffy drawing a new Jolly Roger for Foxy would stand as proof that Pedro is alive after his presumptive kamikaze mission. Just seems like you’re really reaching when this is the “proof” that he survived the explosion, especially when all the official material clearly states that he’s dead. It was already a big enough cop out for Pound to have escaped WCI, a lot of people in this fandom would riot if Pedro’s noble sacrifice is rendered moot.

There were lots of perfect sacrifices of minor characters and they came back for no reason.

Official materials don't want to affect suspense and surprise material of Oda. And btw according to official material Sabo died when tenryubito fired at him. LOL

Anyway, there is no "proof" Pedro is alive. But based on Oda´s track record and how he handles death and portrays it, it´s more likely than not that he is alive.

Good observation, but whatever the theory is. Bringing pedro back is bad writing for Oda. We dont even know whats gonna happen to Pound. Because if he still alive and got major injuried, the tontattas had manshery who can heal him.

I also believe that pedro will comeback to the story and becomes SH crew. Personally, I have 2 theories that could make it happen (if oda pull it right). But I'll save it for now

Honestly, if he asked me, I would have articulated the thread with better points... but nonetheless... it's good to see Pedro supporters.. and I will refrain from more debates about the subject since almost everyone knows my stand on this subject...

Also, no matter how many good points I will collect... the people who are sensitive about the subject of "fake death" and always stand against it will never actually accept any point... so it's pointless to dig in for 900+ chapters to screenshot the evidence and stuff just to be met with pure criticism based on the notion of "hating someone to come back to life". It's just a waste of time
