General & Others Proof that Wano is halfway through at best

He already visited his grave (offscreened) and Oda focusing on it at the very end of the arc is unusual.

Not only that, his childhood is an independent issue as well: the Zou panels are definitely foreshadowing something that had given rise to Zoro's character. It definitely has to happen a bad incident that will make us dive deeper into this and outside of this arc it wouldn't make sense.
Zoros past isn’t important to him. He cares about his future. It’s been 1000 chapters and we’ve seen no reason to assume Zoros desire to be WSS is anything more than his own and Kuinas

Fuck this retarded Zoro past shit.

I hope Zoro is not related to any motherfucker in this weak ass country.

Fucking Samurai stronk:suresure::suresure::suresure:

The only strong and reliable Samurai here was Ryuma and he lived centuries ago.

I don't want Zoro to be connected with this trash ass country because later on, Oda can pull off some retarded shit like Zoro coming to Wano after he leaves Luffy.
Amen to that
I dont want zoro relation to fodder samurai in this wano landfill

Well its kind of already explained. Zoro was a guy trained by a member of Shimotsuki Clan and thats why he use Wano sword techniques, like ryou, even before he knew what Haki is.

If I remember Oda said that the Shimotsuki that left Wano was not alone. Pehaps one of those who go with him was a reteiner of the Shimotsuki that is the grampa of Zoro. But i think Zoro relation with Wano will come from his mother side, because none of the Wano people have reacted to the Roronoa surname, soo probably is just something from East Blue.

Zoro being related to Ryuma is all but confirmed, but whether his parents directly were from Wano / had a large influence on Zoros life is completely unknown at this point. For now, I would say one parent probably is a Shimotsuki but at least the parent on the Roronoa side of the family can't be hugely important since the name has never raised eyebrows anywhere in the world as far as I can recall.

Personally, I am okay with a deeper look into Zoros backstory. Considering his role in the story, I always found his backstory to be the least well explored. Some Zoro fans might be fine with what he currently have, but I never was. His backstory being further explored in the land of the samurai is perfect for me. Sanji got a deeper look into his background, why can't my swordsman have his story further examined?
Because Zoro is already more relevant than Sanji was or ever will be even without his backstory.

Luffy had his past shown being with Dadan and playing with Ace and Sabo, nothing to do with his bloodline.
Same with Zoro we got his story with Kuina and challenging the Dojo etc.
I just don't want his 'Roronoa' changed into some trash name like 'Shimotsuki', it's obvious enough he's blood related to Ryuma tho.
But a very bad twist from Oda would make him be related to Kaido making his mother a Shimotsuki and his father Kaido, like both are alcoholics, Twister attack, spinning weapon attack, attack with 'Hakke' in it etc just no please this won't make sense and I already saw alot of people making this dumb theory.

It's not about relevancy man. Sanjis backstory was about as bare bones as Zoros was, and he got almost an entire arc dedicated to a more fleshed out one. Zoros past is literally nonexistent prior to the Dojo, and he is currently in the land of the Samurai, one of whom canonically looked exactly like him. People that honestly expect his backstory to not even be touched are fighting a losing battle here.

If we were to look at this post:

Oda in an SBS:
To put it in other words, who Zoro meant by "a geezer in his village" that he met was actually grandpa Shimotsuki Kozaburo-san himself, who comes from the Wano Country. Oh? Then could that mean...Zoro's lineage...?! Well, the story of Shimotsuki Kozaburo, the samurai who founded Shimotsuki Village, is all I'm willing to share today!
Are we certain Zoro is a Shimotsuki? That SBS content implies that Zoro only knows someone who is a Shimotsuki instead of being a Shimotsuki.

Well if you consider that Wano is a single country and is not an multinational organization like the World Government,if Wano was to become a part of WG,it would for sure provide some quality vice admirals and at least 1 admiral candidate or admiral(Oden if he was alive,Future Momonosuke)!

Last half of Wano we get Beast Pirates+Ninja getting defeated,Orochi dying,Momo doing something important, some more scabbards dying,Calamities getting defeated,PerosPero dying,Kaido and BM falling,CP0 calling a buster call!New Onigashima project failing!Alliance fleeing to the interior of Wano and escaping the buster call,Wanonense cheering Freedom!
