General & Others Protecting Luffy was as much as Sanji's moment as it was Zoro's.

What I personally question is not whether or not he forgot about his goal, it would be hilarious to claim he did forget, but how much wobble, how much vacillation he showed throughout the journey, because Zoro and Luffy did not once and by a single inch.
Is hilarious to claim that zoro did not played a part in changing sanji perspective, because nobody here is questioning if sanji forgot or not his goal.

No. Sanji was even there convincing Zoro how important his dreams were, and that it was more necessary for him to see them through than his own life. He even tells Zoro to have him and the others find another cook.

Zoro took command and protected his crewmate, knowing what was coming ahead was something only he had any hope of shouldering. And he did.

It was a good little moment to show how much they did care about the other, but the overall purpose of the scene was Zoro stepping up when Luffy could not, as well as how much Zoro changed since the start of the journey. The guy who threatened Luffy to commit harakiri if he got in the way of his ambitons now risking it all to preserve Luffy's.

Did you literally just manipulate everything to make it seem like Sanji didn't want to sacrifice himself for Luffy, Zoro and the Crew. Sanji took command as well and would not allow Zoro to sacrifice himself. He wanted to sacrifice himself. Thus Zoro sneak attacked him...

I didn't manipulate anything. Sanji had the intent. But by that nature, all of the Straw Hats had that moment, since they would all have done the same thing. They all already refused to sell out Luffy, so it would be expected of them not to let any member sacrifice themselves.

At the end of the day, it was Zoro who took command of the situation, not Sanji.

In what way did Zoro take command ? By hitting Sanji whilst Sanji was off-guard? Saying Zoro took command then ignoring what Sanji wanted to do is highly fallacious. Just say Zoro took the pain....and leave.

Sanji wanted to take Zoro's place, Zoro didn't let him and knocked him out, and proceeded to place responsibility for the crew on his shoulders. I don't see how that's not taking command of the situation

Good. Next time don't phrase it as if Sanji didn't wanna do shit except talk Zoro out of it.

This is not just about intentions but possibilities.

When did Sanji prove to be capable to sustain as much pain as Zoro endured?

Damn, like damn.. Sanji have another great solo moments right?, or he doesn't?. Why always leeching off to Zoro?.

Since chapter 997 sanji fans seriously become desperate.
Because this was Sanji's moment too lmao. We're not leeching off Zoro's moment of taking the pain. We are showing that both his and Zoro's resolution was equal when it came to sacrificing themselves.

Trying to shoehorn Sanji into Zoro feats what else is new, Sanji did show the resolve to sacrifice himself but in the end Zoro handled it saving Sanji life by knocking him out with his hil at the same time saving his captain and the entire crew. Sanji would have died caused his captain a lot of grief, the right man for the job stepped up time to accept that
