Then you become one by either accumulating many achievements, or beat the Current World strongest.

Kaidou was world Strongest creature in name and Actuality because , people here don't wanna accept mihawk is the strongest.

if luffy Beat Kaidou in a 1v1 , Fair and Square , Where is his World Strongest Title.

We understand situation for Whitebeard , he was old and sick , wasn't the strongest at all , just carried the title from past. And his fight wasn't even fair. That's why Akainu wasn't named as World Strongest Man after Whitebeard.

But what is the excuse for luffy?
- World government? They only wish to hide The fact Luffy is Joyboy or Nika whatever.
- Giving him a title and A new bounty will only result in More Fight towards him. Which makes WG work easy. So it's not because of World Government. It's a very well known fact that Luffy pulled down Kaidou globally right now.

Because in one piece universe title of pirate king has way more prestigue and fame and Luffy has that seat reserved for him. Nobody gives a fuck about world strongest titles , neither people within one piece universe nor actual fans . and only won because his DF decided to awaken. After the effect of the awakening wore off and the battle was done, he had to deal with the consequences of G5. I'm a huge Luffy fan, but he needed quite some help before he could pose an actual threat to Kaidou. He used the circumstances right and made it so he could defeat him, but if we're measuring sheer power, he wouldn't surpass Kaidou at the time he was battling him and all factors were neutral in a 1v1. I think that's a good thing, though! I wouldn't want him to be unbeatable in terms of sheer power. I do think, however, that Luffy will reach a level that nobody in the world can surpass in his lifetime.

It’s because Oda wants to have his cake and eat it too. He wants Luffy to defeat the so-called WSC but still be an underdog afterwards. He can’t have Luffy be called WSM/WSC when there are still quite a few pirates with higher or equal bounties.

To be fair, he always treated Kaido’s title as hearsay. Whitebeard whom a lot of people try to diminish was treated and acknowledged far better.

luffy has never won against a serious opponent in a pure 1v1 battle of strength
there are always outside factors which makes him win

Against crocodile , it was water
against enel , he was his weakness
against moria , it was zombie luffy
against doffy , it was law
against katakuri , he literally ran away multiple times
against kaido , he had all the novas + yamato + scabbards

I didn't claimed Luffy beated Kaido In a proper way
Luffy's Peak > Kaido's Peak however Kaido is on average stronger than Luffy (as G5 is limited on Time)

And Kaido had it because he was introduced way before Imu

Majority just ignore this but its clear with this scan Oda separates humans and creatures .

There is no wrong or right here its just personal view on matter , you can separate humans and creatures yet you can include humans into creatures category just like you can separate animals and humans when in reality you can classify humans as animals and still not be wrong.

Kaido got the title of WSC not because he was the strongest character in a 1 vs 1 fight, but because no one else could harm or kill him.

Like falling from 10 km from the sky, hanging, piecing, the guillotine, and not even from himself.
Only the strongest of haki users could hurt him/kill him.

Since Luffy can get hurt from these things and he is just human, the WSC title does not benefit him. It's Oda's way to hype characters, which will be hard to accept when another title becomes non-existent.
