One Piece isn't over yet, it still has its "mysteries" and final war to conclude.
We'll see how these get handled. Egghead was the first arc in the final Saga
and we see that Bonnie is a Nika Worshipper, so is Vegapunk, so is Kuma, so is Kizaru, now we're in elbaf and they all worship Nika too.
What an interesting Jesus fruit Luffy's running around with. I wonder how much more of this people will stomach.
People have a higher tolerance of corny convenient writing in onep iece though.

DBZ untill Freeza arc it's top tier story and manga/anime, after Freeza arc DBZ turned into garbage. Final arc is just ok.
Naruto Shippuden till Pain arc it's peak story and overall great anime/manga, but 4-th War arc is litteraly garbage, but it's better then DBZ final arc.
Op Time skip - begining it's fine, second part(wano) - is shit, and final part is still questionable.

I will rank like this DBZ=Shippuden > Op Time Skip.
Why? Because Freeza arc is much better then anything that happened in Naruto Shippuden

DBZ is definitely the best imo. It’s easily the most iconic series here and the only one people argue is better than the first part of the anime.
I like OP post timeskip more than Naruto shippuden just because the War Arc of Shippuden is one of if not the worst arc of any manga I’ve ever read and it was over half of shippuden.

Dbz was always shit bros. Toriyama passed away, we don't have to pretend anymore.
There simply wasn't any competition for it back in the day. Powercreeping level over 9000, plots and characters more shallow than any Taylor swift song.
Animation was fine, music too. Rest bullshit. And Super even made it worse by recycling that shit with zero effort.

I think dragon ball went downhill afrer red army arc, author just failed to write a good story after that anx abandones human characters like Yamcha who my favorite character.
One is just not half as good after the time skip but still better then dravonball.
Shippun was also not good as the first half but it still hold on to some degree and had lots of good moments though the war was just no good since there wasn't a legit enemy, i think Ninjas didn't even need a war at.

Dragonball is much shorter, and comparing Dragon Ball to DBZ is like two entirely different genres, not even mangas.

Silly thread, comparing naruto or One Piece to what defined the genre is impossible. It's like comparing middle ages painting to reinassance.

Naruto is an edgy manga with excellent fights which pretends to be deep while failing, One Piece is an adventure manga with passable fights and that never tries to be too deep, excelling at main themes.
No moment in Naruto can trump the merry arriving at Enies Lobby, I'll evaluate the tiemskips when One Piece ends, at teh moment One Piece clears.

DBZ is a classic, the best was saiyan saga, Namek saga a close second and then Cell saga lost quite a bit and Majin Bu saga even more, still a timeless classic as a whole. Probably the most iconic serie.
OP too is a classic in a way but weaker than DBZ and also the post time skip is infinite compared to.. everything else basically and Wano was bad and even the arcs before are questionable, maybe Egghead and Elbaf regained something compared to Wano yet DBZ for sure is above (and not remotely so diluted like OP).
Shippuden is meh, it basically starts with Gaara death and resurrection which is Nika resurrection level of bad. Plus there was a massive death count in Pain saga too, and they too got all resurrected. Then I guess it was bearable yet the war saga was a wreck (at least Jiraya was spared) so imo it is for sure below even OP as a whole after the time skip. Also there was Nardo going after Sauce, Sakura and other bad stuff I guess yet I admit that post time skip I never followed Naruto so much.
