Current Events Red Hair Pirates vs Kidd Pirates - what will the outcome be?

In their first encounter, Kidd lost his arm to an underling, most likely Ben. While Kidd beat an out of prime Big Mom, he did so with the help of awakened Law and even then, not winning by knocking her out but pushing her off the island while Law muted her voice, disabling her from calling her homies.

Now we have Shanks with his core crew, fleets and Elbaf Giants.

Is this Oda's way of removing the pawns Law and Kidd off the Board, as @Paperchampion23 phrased it?

The worst part is I think Oda will do a defeated but undefeated thing, to not make both Law and Kidd look terrible.

RHP is overkill - kidd pirates have no one apart from killer and kidd to match them.

It’s not so much removing Kid and Law from the board, they’ll still be around later.

Main point is to get Shanks and Blackbeard Road Poneglyphs, I think that’s clear. It’s setting up a pretty big fight for the final RP- especially if Shanks has the missing one and Saul or someone else can translate for him.

Secondary aim is to hype them above Luffy. We’re seeing the point of the equal bounties after Wano. It’s cheap, but Oda can say “look, these guys have the same bounty as Luffy, Shanks and Blackbeard are the real deal, eh?” Course, that doesn’t work so well since Luffy shits on Kid and Law, but it’s the intent.

I'm gonna give Kidd the benfit of the doubt and say he's gonna show us a nice fight ( if we will even get to see it or parts of it ) keep in mind that he took quite some serious direct hits from BM while Hawkins had him under his controll and then he kept fighting.

So as much as someone can hate him he showed the ability to fight toe to toe with a Yonko, now putting that aside there's no way his crew can match the RHP crew + the Elbaf giants lol

I'm seeing the same case as we saw in Law's fight with BB

Oda will flex Kidd's improved strength w/ crew synergy countering RHP momentarily and then the rest of the fight being off screen.

Knowing Oda he is going to offpanel the whole thing and we get just the result. Also this is a mirror of Law vs BB. On one hand I think they both should lose badly as to hype BB and Shanks and show that Luffy is not there yet. If Law and Kidd win or even get a draw that would mean Luffy is already on par with the 2 yonkos and that is against Oda hype policy. If Oda plays dirty then the whole thing is offpaneled and there isn't even a clear result, don't expect too much.

At most we are the fight begin and everything else if offpaneled to Kidd's defeat.

There is a chance that was the final chapter of the fight until defeat. Reason for this is Oda doesn't know how to slowly reveal characters and instead just spams their move set during their main fight. This means that he won't show Shanks moveset and by extension fight will be off panel.
