What I watched was Sanji get all of his bones broken, get his awakening at the perfect time and only beat Queen after using his strongest attack, before collapsing. He barely won, his armament alone wasn't enough to use IJ which tells me he relied on his last-second science awakening and without it definitely would've lost.

If I were trying to defend Sanji I'd just steer clear of this fight all together.
