I think it’s shit writing how that sword was purely a decoration and NOBODY used it.
You have Kid, who can manipulate metal
Law with telekinesis
Luffy, who can become a giant in G5
Kaido, who can lift things with his clouds
And nobody did shit with it. It was just a prop. Literally anti-chekov’s gun
Yeah the rail gun is honestly a better technique. It has a charge up but once it’s charged, the projectile is incredibly fast and has a ton of power behind it.
Compare that to the sword. Even if Kid could use it, that thing is so big and clunky that BM could just destroy it like how she destroyed Kid’s bull.
Nonetheless, I still think it’s dumb how not a single character used it and it was just a useless prop.

Either way, Kid was just a vehicle for Oda to use and dispose of Big Mom so he could cut the story down a little. His purpose is over. Now Luffy's real (Yonko) rivals have appeared. Shanks and Blackbeard are to Luffy post-Wano, what Kid/Law were to Luffy pre Wano.

Amen man. They really do not understand his character at all. Its almost like they're scared of his inevitable comeback. He's never gonna outshine the literal chosen one God hypocrite MC but like a lot of other series, the best characters are the underdogs, the more underrated ones, the more downplayed and misunderstood ones, the ones without the most extreme plot armour, retcons, overwhelming bias by the author and fandom etc.

But what if instead of Big mom getting fucked by 100 nukes and the Law and kid getting a “technical” lame ass win, Law puncture willer’s Big mom and and creates a crater, Kid tickles Big mom until she falls, Law prevents Big mom’s Homies from saving her and KID GRABS A GIANT SWORD AND LAUNCHES IT DOWN AFTER BIG MOM AND SHE FALLS INTO THE MAGMA AND THEN GETS SMACKED ON THE HEAD BY AN ISLAND SIZED SWORD

Kid is a fodder and I congratulate you and hug you in a non gay manner for being a based chad that never ceased hating and shit talking Mid.
Kid was promising and I am sure Oda thought the same when he randomly created his ass while doing his morning shit. But he quickly (over a decade) realized it was a mistake and thoroughly and ultimately destroyed his legacy a couple months ago. Rightly so.
Give his fruit to zoro and he'd move fucking planets with their molten metal cores. He'd casually swing every living being simply by manipulating the iron in their blood. His awakening would not only turn all matter to metals but also form them the way he wishes and thus give him even logia traits like the fluid robot bro from Terminator 2.
Tldr: Yes, he was shit. FUCK mid and his shitty plot. Poor killer though, he was misled and was actually quite a based guy.

But his build up has been one of the worst in this story Oda dropped the ball hard.
He was hyped as 3b and then disrespected as fodder to Shanks an author absolutely shouldn't have done that. It even drop BM even more as a fighter.

The funny part is that he attacked Kaido again without doing any more preparations. He did not have a clue about how to hurt Kaido, he did not trained his haki, he did not have any specific strategy to get rid of the emperor…he just attacked straight up.
He did not beat Kaido and was unable to do anything to him. He ended up fighting big mom and was able to beat her only thanks to Law and the bombs.

What if instead of the bombs knocking big mom out, Kid pulled the sword out of onigashima as Bug mom was falling and then Telekinetically launched that shit down the hole after her… Remember that That hole was like several times the height of onigashima… Like about 10 times as high… So Kid has run way to accelerate the sword with his powers ALONGSIDE gravity and the fact that it’s a fucking giant sword that’s like bigger that big mom’s body even
What if the above happened and this is in fact what knocked out Big mom (this and the magma I guess)… Would Kid not finally be worth 3 billion for doing this instead?
