Current Events Replace 17 y.o Dragon with 17 y.o Luffy at GV. What will change?

The realistic way :
He will act way more rashly than Dragon and trample every CD on his way without being sly about it
this will obviously lead him to cross path with a Holy Knight or some big shot and he will be trounced
The OP way :
Same premise than before but he will got lucky and he will befriend lots of people, maybe young Kum Iva etc.
‘Given the ruckus on the island people won’t really mind him.
‘He will impress some big shot pirates and Roger pirates saving civilians and kicking CD butts. Some will protect him from Marine/HK big shots etc.
‘and when things will go south (Imuko Xebec Roger Garp going at it) he will manage to escape maybe thanks to Kuma or Ray/Roger etc

Without plot armor, he would probably be killed by a HK and Garling would take back Shanks/Shamrock. In normal conditions, he would somehow save BOTH Shanks and Shamrock (they wouldn't be able to turn back and face an enemy they couldn't defeat like Ace) and would avoid getting killed by people much stronger than him.
He'll awaken his God fruit at God Valley perfectly.
He would definitely spark up extreme chaos especially post awakening catch the attention of Xebec, Rocks Pirates, Garling, Saturn, Roger and his crew, Garp etc.
Various Rocks pirates may try to hunt and kill him for his fruit and once the WG catch wind that Nika is here, all hell will break loose especially once Imu finds out and gets involved directly inevitably.
But I also just realised this is pre TS Luffy so no haki, no gear 4th never mind getting gear 5th...so RIP LOL? Oda would find a way to make him survive, guaranteed. But man, I do wonder what would have happened if Luffy awakened pre TS instead. It almost felt like it could have happened at Impel Down vs Magellan or Marineford especially with Akainu there. Not to mention Crocodile was giving Luffy the Kaido treatment pre TS, that could have forced him to awaken back then but he didn't ofc. Would have been WAY to soon for the story as well, even if it happened at ID or MF instead.
Some scrapped film red plots had luffy going back in time to meet young Shanks but also separately the original user of the nika fruit (so joyboy ofc?) and also one involving a new impel down in the sky with bon clay being saved lol. enel came back in one of the alternative planned plots too. Doflamingo and Crocodile too iirc.
