Yeah I'm not saying that Kid overshadows Teach. But the build up is there for Kid to finally get his moment against Shanks.
Kid having his moment doesn't automatically mean Teach won't have his. Look at Kaido.

First you had the rooftop, then it transitioned to Luffy vs Kaido.
Don't see why Oda can't do the same for Shanks. First Shanks gets ganged up on, Kid gets his moment. Then Teach has his DF awakening/third DF moment, and it transitions to Teach vs Shanks.

Still, it doesn't make sense for Kid to not ever get his moment, even if his moment is something very small. The Kid/Shanks stuff has been built up for quite some time now.

Kidd has been established as a fool. Now there are only 2 possible routes:

Kidd stays dead. Oda stays true to him and his crew being erased and his story is actually over.

Kidd gets some character development and actually is not so much of an ass anymore, he understands what is better for him and leaves Shanks alone. All this happens in Elbaf arc.

I guess that either way it is game over for a Kidd fan but think about it, what use can Kidd have in the story at this point? He and Law are left behind in the race, Kidd edgy character has been bashed more than once as something that leads you to death (Ace being baited by Akainu, Kidd himself) and what would be the point to bring him back a 3rd time (first Kaido erased him once then Shanks) with the same mind set? To be punished a 3rd time? The inky chance he has is to get some character development and be back as the Law of Elbaf arc. Then the 2 wannabe rivals are left behind for good and the focus is on the Shanks/BB/Luffy race (if this isn't already happening).

Nonsense. Kid has a 3 billion berry bounty and is one of the strongest members of the worstgen.

It’s not a question of if Kid gets his revenge, it’s a question of when.

I wonder if Kidd loses his memory like Big Mom did and starts a new life. Either way most likely for him to join Cross Guild. Or he disappears for good. Lots of Pirates never resurfaced, maybe his story won't be part of the main story.
