Reading several comments above.
Imagine thinking souls stealing/sucking could be easy on someone like Kaido.
Nonetheless, we haven't seen full capabilities of Kaido unlike Madara.
But one thing is sure that none of Madara offensive attack would be enough to put down Kaido.
Only hax could work but that's if we assume Kaido has chakra, but by that logic haki is an issue for Naruto character lol.
So idk who wins until Kaido show his full capabilities.

The soul stealing/sucking will definitely work if it hits Kaido, but that's if he gets hit with it. It's one of the few abilities that works on uses purely spiritual energy rather than chakra. Haki is more of willpower, not spiritual energy so I don't think Haki will help against that ability.

The 6 path allows for madara to use any type of elemental jutsu. He could easily use a water style jutsu and figure out Kaido’s weakness
Imagine reading Naruto and not realizing how really OP Madara is. The man was the Batman of Naruto, dude could figure out jutsu and weaknesses on the fly. They had to seriously Buff Naruto and Sasuke in order to beat him

You don't have to tell me how OP he is, this is not So6p Madara. You should consider the opponent is Kaido, he is not some human being who can be beaten by meteor or some elemetal attack, fire, wind, etc. Or some chunnin lvl whose soul can be easily ripped off.

Limbo? Chibaku Tensei? Susanoo? All of these attacks have a high impact power,enough to beat tailed beasts.
And what can Kaido do against 4 invisible Limbo clones? One of them was strong enough to pummel all tailed beasts to submission.
Also he can summon the Gedo Masou statue to use the soul extraction jutsu which Nagato used against Hanzo and his man.
I'm not seeing Kaido winning at this point.

If coc doesn't let law move kaido then any soul sucking hax or genjutsu doesn't work on kaido
Water does nothing kaido has a sea dragon fruit he can breathe underwater
And even if his stamina gone cause of it kaidos flame clouds can move him through the water as seen when they went underwater to lift onigashima

Haki has an interplay with devil fruits. That doesn't transfer to ninjutsu or genjutsu unless you wanna outright change the match up and put chakra on the same level as devil fruits. Which outright makes this a stomp for Kaido.
Nothing Kaido has suggests he has an immunity to genjutsu, that's nonsense. Nothing kaido has suggests if soul sucking serpents jump him, he can CoC his way out. It's what happens when hax meets conventionally powered fighters. Hax wins.
Orochimaru did not seal away their personalities and was maintaining control over the Edo Tensei by manipulating the Senju DNA that their host bodies were composed of. So no duh, Hashirama can control a body composed of his DNA better than Orochimaru.

Except we literally see the guy with the most hax who can ignore durability use an organ melting move DO NOTHING to kaido. Laws fruit basic function of room doesn't even work on kaido simply due to how big his coc is. So if even the haxiest hax doesn't work then genius won't work either and it won't just be law watch all hax like Peronas kumas the girl with the paint shit on baroque works anything like that won't work on these top coc users. Massive coc is proven to be > hax

CoC is proven to be > Devil fruit abilities from characters massively weaker than them / without CoC. Which says nothing in a battle across verses.
