Speculations Rocks is going to try to kill Baby Shanks

Because mass slaughter is something that’s directly stated when it happens such as when Oda is talking about the celestial dragon hunting games
No it isn't? When we were first told about God Valley, we were first only told that it was wiped off the face of the map. Only years later did we find out about the casualties. I guess at the time you would have assumed there was zero casualties?
Unfortunately I will not be taking your headcanon as anything
My headcanon that people die when towns are wiped off the map and countries are ruined?

The foot colony was completely destroyed by Whitebeard’s earthquake. Would you describe that as “Whitebeard slaughtered the inhabitants of the foot colony”?

I mean on panel we saw the entire town sink from Whitebeard’s quake, and this is a “colony” so the people live there with their families and children. Are you saying that On panel, Oda just showed us Whitebeard committing a genocide by “wiping out the foot colony”?

Or is Oda’s intention simply that Whitebeard destroyed the buildings of the colony and that’s that?

Also God valley was first described as the place Garp and Roger fought rocks to protect The Celestial dragons and their Slaves. We weren’t even given an inkling that it had any native inhabitants. Were you here online when this was first revealed? The original theories were that God valley was a full on Celestial dragon home island, like Mariejois. (Its name is literally “GOD” valley). People thought that Rocks attacked a Mariejois type home for celestial dragons, then Garp and Roger SAVED THE CELESTIAL DRAGONS and then Afterwards the island was destroyed to hide the entire event.

So yes actually, the original theory was in fact that no mass casualties happened on god valley, since we were directly told that Garp and Roger saved the day originally. It was a TWIST years later that actually the island had natives and wasn’t a permanent Celestial dragon home

Presumably, yes. Using your fruit to kill people, even as a side effect still implies that you would be at the fault for them dying. Though the chapter does not make it entirely clear that he finished the job of sinking the island, given the fact that his crew was on the island and the arrival/fight with the Marines.

But that theory never happened. What happened is Oda said the island was wiped off the face of the map to imply that the population was wiped off as well. He obviously intends the same when he mentions the Rocks pirates wiping towns off the face of the map and ports being reduced to ash. There's no reason for Oda to put that scene in otherwise, unless his intention is that Rocks has a strong dislike of certain types of architecture and would send Big Mom and Kaido to evacuate towns people before destroying their homes.

No, Oda never mentioned any native population. This was intentional. Why the hell would Oda have Sengoku not mention that there were native inhabitants if Oda wasn’t intending to hide the fact that native inhabitants were existed

so I’m going to assume you were NOT online 5 years ago when this was first mentioned since you clearly haven’t even thought this through enough. You’re using hindsight to color your conclusions.

we had ABSOLUTELY ZERO inclination that a native population existed when Oda first introduced it. And you claiming you somehow knew from the jump is goddamn lie

Anyway no, Whitebeard did not commit genocide agains the foot colony on panel. Oda did not casually just show Whitebeard committing genocide in one panel. This is not what Oda intended when he drew that panel and it’s not what happened in canon in the one piece manga.

done.

Because it wasn't relevant to his point? He was not offering a history lesson on the island of God Valley, but the Rocks pirates.

I would assume that any island unless stated otherwise has some sort of population. You have people living on the sky and an elephant, but not God Valley? lol. And my point isn't about what I "knew" or didn't know, my point is it's obvious what Oda means when he says islands are wiped off the face of the map, or an island is erased. This is stuff that characters like Doffy and Enel do.

Only if we assume that Whitebeard didn't actually "wiped the island off the map" due to not wanting to kill his crew and the arrival of the Marines. There would be casualties regardless though. Obviously any court of law would hold him accountable for that.

I said we’re done

Understandable, I'm not sure how a human being could realistically argue that towns can be completely wiped off the face of the map without people dying. It would be completely rejecting any type of logic or common sense
"No, you see everyone were evacuated miraculously (source - trust me bro) so they didn't die they just become homeless refugees and Xebec is a moral paragon"

So, let's say Imu did indeed do the Domi Reversi thing on Xebec. Wouldn't every Marine present then be a witness to the potential existence of Imu? Even Garp would have to be eliminated, but...that does not seem to be the case.
i mean, even if Imu appear, what would they know about, without given context?
Like, at best, they would think that Imu is actually secret weapon WG deployed in case of super strong guy appear
