Roger DIDN'T say "King of the pirates" here to Whitebeard and Oden. He attributes that title to the newspapers.

Meaning Luffy didn't say this as a kid to Ace and Sabo too since its implied he said the same thing as Roger

They probably said "Freest man on the sea"

My bet is we learn what they both said in Shanks' flashback since Shanks said to Rayleigh in Sabaody that "Luffy said what Roger did" and that's why he gave him the strawhat. Also shanks is the most only person who could possibly know what both Roger and Luffy said since both Roger and Luffy probably repeated this line a couple of times and only Shanks was around both of them and in a single flashback we will learn what both said

Wouldn´t fit in the scenario where Luffy said the same word as Roger.
The whole sentence with Luffy,Ace and Sabo was only because Ace wanted to be a great person, then Luffy said the same word as Roger.
Freest man on the sea wouldn´t fit to the sentence, so Luffy must said something greater like "King of the World" else their.

From what I know of Luffy. It could be meat, party, fight, freedom, adventure or people.

From what I know of Roger it could be fight, party, freedom, adventure or people.

Ace wanted to be love and accepted.

If it is not King of pirates It is not Fight.
If it is not Free man of the sea it is not Adventure or Freedom.

That could e party or People.

I would say like Naruto : A guy everybody of every Island can count one

you are right , most likely he said the same thing that Luffy told Ace and Sabo in chapter 585, that panel was cut as well. i think that are the words that Shanks was referring to as well as he told Rayleigh that Luffy said the same words as Roger, and maybe because of those words Shanks decided to bet on Luffy

So then Roger and Luffy said different things?
