"If most of your Sword fighting style is blunt damage then you're not a Swordsman in One Piece.." -Nice made up criteria, that you can't objectively prove.
How you use a sword doesn't negate being a swordsman. You kill your own statement when you say "sword fighting style" Having any sword fighting style makes you a swordsman.
"sword fighting" implies you fight with a sword. That makes you a swordsman by definition. Having a style of sword fighting = swordsmanship.
"Isn't the core principle of Swordsmanship to cut or do cutting damage?.. " In real life the sword is going to cut if you use the blade to attack with it.
But it's funny how you pick and choose when to use real world logic and apply them to One Piece. When we use the real world definition of swordsman, you start yapping and make a new criteria. "he's using a sword to fight and has a sword fighting style/swordsmanship he created but most his attacks are blunt, waaaah"
But then you choose to say a sword has to cut with the bladed edge to be swordsmanship. Because that is the only thing a swordsman with the bladed edge of a sword can do in real life.
But in real life haki doesn't exist, so of course there is no other option when using the bladed edge of a sword. You're going to cut.
But in One Piece (Not sure if you read) you can manipulate through haki how you attack with a sword, which is why swordsman can choose when to cut or not cut things, this is achieved through ryuou/haki. This is all explicitly stated on the manga, but when roger does it you start crying.
You're a decent troll (I hope you're trolling, because the other option would be quite bleak) that always uses ellipses at the end of their sentence..
