Powers & Abilities Roger isn’t a swordsman

Don’t worry I always disagree with everything you say

There is no blunt damage in the story that cuts people to pieces like that

also, swordsmen do blunt damage all the time, as shown by Rocks who was famous for it
Yeah you make it a personal mission to always do..

Gunned down to pieces i would say.. These aren't just people, they have immortal bodies with logia properties..

We talking about Roger here, Rocks is entirely different enigma that i haven't solved yet..
Why i knew someone would do this.. Post Roger pirates Disbanded.. Come on..

Oh now you’re saying that rocks was only cut to pieces because he’s a demon?

do you see why I don’t agree with you, when you keep stacking headcanon on top of headcanon like this?

You’ve already decided your conclusion and so you just keep additional adding things on top to support the conclusion you already made.

I brought up rocks to remind you that swordsmen use blunt force all the time. They can even be famous for using blunt force. And yet they are still swordsmen

My original point hasn't changed, i said Roger's attack was a Blunt damage type Bullet piercing attack.. I don't believe it cut..

Why you're trying to switch to Rocks when it's about Roger..

The topic of the thread is “Roger isnt a swordsman”

your “proof” that Roger isn’t a swordsman is that he did blunt damage.

And I’m saying many swordsmen do blunt damage. Zoro does blunt damage. Rocks does blunt damage. Ryuma did blunt damage (in fact Ryuma’s lunge attack was directly referred to as “like a bullet”)

this is on top of the fact that Roger cut Rocks to pieces and you’ve decided that actually blunt damage can cut people to pieces too now.

If most of your Sword fighting style is blunt damage then you're not a Swordsman in One Piece..

You keep saying Roger cut Rocks to pieces, but from my standing i don't recognize this premise so it's irrelevant.. It's as if you're telling me Garp cut Rocks to pieces..

Do you literally not see any visual distinction between the damage Garp did and the damage Roger did? You don’t see the holes that Garp’s fists did and you don’t see the slashes Roger did, including slashing off Rocks’ leg?

you’re the only person who sees the panel and things Roger and Garp are doing the same thing

Roger has two named attacks, one of which cut rocks to pieces

and also you have literally made up this rule that “if you only use blunt force you are not a swordsman”. This is completely made up by you.

That’s like saying “if you only use Flying slashes you are not a swordsman”. This statesmen has as much validity as yours does

There are visual distinction between Garp and Roger's damage but they both deal blunt damage..

I'm claiming bullet or baseball based blunt attacks, that is tearing through Rocks immortal logia properties like this..

Isn't the core principle of Swordsmanship to cut or do cutting damage?..

Flying slashes would inflict slicing damage, they are produced from the Blade..

Nope. There is no “core principle of swordsmanship” in one piece. No panel of such a statement exists in the manga.

Flying slashes would inflict slicing damage, they are produced from the Blade..
So what? Rocks and Zoro and Ryuma produce blunt damage from their blades too

your argument is that ONLY doing blunt damage disqualifies you. so what if you only do flying slashes

we’ve established that swordsmen can do whatever they want with their swords. Flying slashes and blunt force

your fixation is on Roger supposedly only doing blunt damage, so then what about T-Bone whose entire fighting style is making Flying slashes. That’s his whole entire thing. Same way Roger supposedly only does blunt damage

also Roger doesn’t do only blunt damage for two reasons
1. We literally see Roger slashing Rocks to pieces

2. Shanks’ entire fighting style is modeled from Roger and Shanks is shown slashing through Harald

There is nothing else you can argue. The most serious thing of all is the image of Roger cutting off Xebec's leg completely and even this clown continues to deny it.

It's literally this:

"this color is red for me"

Flying slashes aren't blunt damage..

Fujitora's Gravity Blade is Blunt Damage, it's a Sword Skill, but it's not Swordsmanship, or Bladesmanship..

Roger's main fighting style is Blunt damage, so he's not a swordsman.. I think it's pretty straightforward..
