I brought up Kaido in comparison, and he fails to compare.

Roger needs everyone in his crew (minus magical mythical fruit) to become Pirate King.

Reading last chapter i realised how insane Gol D Roger was
He wasn't the chosen one
He didnt had the chosen one fruit of a God and still reached the top and found One piece
Beat Rocks to who had 3 yonko as his subordinate + shiki who was also a top tier

Swatted Lolden like a Fly
and matched WB in his prime who was the strongest of all

He was a D but we got Saul and Law s parrents who are also D but fodders so it doesn't matter

He reached it with swordsmanship
Shows how overpowered a swordsman can be
